The programs and activities of Faith Church shall be based upon and consistent with the following creeds and beliefs:
The Scriptures
The Bible is the inspired Word of God that reveals the will of God, the product of holy men of old who spoke and
wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, we accept as our
infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine. (2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Thes. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)

The Godhead
There is one true Godhead comprised of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All are co-equal and co-eternal.
(Matt. 28:19; 1 John 5:7) Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead. (Is. 9:6; John 1:1,14)

Man, His Fall
Man was created in God's image. By voluntary transgression, he fell and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ,
the Son of God. (Gen. 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Rom. 5:12-21)
top
Salvation of Man
Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. On the cross, Jesus Christ became sin and sickness,
providing both salvation and healing for all mankind. (Ps. 103:3) This salvation comes by believing in your heart that God
raised Jesus from the dead and confession with your mouth, Jesus as Lord. (Rom. 3:24, 10:8-10; Eph. 2:8) The inward evidence to
the believer is the direct witness of the spirit. (Rom. 8:16) The outward evidence is a life of true holiness and love.
(1 John 3:23; John 13:35) Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works; however, our works are evidence of our
faith and will determine our rewards in eternity. (Acts 3:16; Rom. 10:9,10, 14:10-12; 2 Cor. 5:20; Eph. 2:8,9; Titus 3:5-7; Jam. 2:18)

Water Baptism
Baptism in water is by immersion, is a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers only. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian's
identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12; Acts 8:36-39)
top
Baptism in the Holy Ghost
The Baptism in the Holy Ghost and fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all
believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the New Birth. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in
other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. (Matt. 3:11; John 14:16,17; Acts 2:38,39; Acts 19:1-7; Acts 2:4)

Divine Healing
Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God.This power is manifested in several ways: a sovereign act of
God, the spiritual gifts of healing, the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands. It is and was provided for in the atonement of Christ.
(Mark 16:18; James 5:14,15; 1 Peter2:24; Matt. 8:17; Isa. 53:4,5)

Communion
The celebration of the Lord's Supper by eating of the bread and drinking of the cup, is a remembrance of Jesus' death untill He returns. It is to be
observed and practiced with reverence and full understanding of his complete redemptive work. (1 Cor. 11:23-30)
top
The Church
The church is the Body of Christ. Each believer is an integral part. (Eph. 2:19-22, Heb. 13:2,3)

Resurrection of the Just and the Return of Our Lord
His coming is imminent. When He comes, "...the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them
in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air...". (Acts 1:11; 1 Thes. 4:16,17) Following the Tribulation, He shall return to earth as King of kings, and
Lord of lords, and together with His saints, He shall reign a thousand years. (Rev. 20:6)

Hell and Eternal Retribution
The one who physically dies in his sins without accepting Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire
and therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the gospel or repenting. The lake of fire is literal. The terms "eternal" and "everlasting," used
in describing the duration of punishment of the damned in the lake of fire, carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in denoting
of joy and ecstasy of saints in the Presence of God. (Heb. 9:27; Rev. 19:20)
