Worship & Creative Arts

Following Jesus's example of communicating in parables and word pictures, our drama team uses short sketches to reinforce Pastor Frank's teachings at all weekend services. Using the creative writing talents right here at Faith Church, we speak to the congregation through side-splitting humor and sometimes more thought-provoking drama. Worship is how we express our love and thankfulness for God.  At Faith we most commonly express our worship through song.  We play a variety of contemporary styles ranging from rock to funk. Our musical influences include bands like Chris Tomlin, U2, Hillsong United, Lincoln Brewster, Israel Houghton and Martha Munizzi.

We strive for excellence in our offerings of praise and worship to God. We come together in one accord and rehearse on Wednesday evenings for the weekend services. We have been blessed with a large stage and we like to use it to creatively construct sets to support the theme of the messages and to provide a backdrop for our many dramatic productions. Pastor Frank also likes to use large scale props to make his points. Many talented hands are needed in carpentry, painting, electrical work, crafting, sewing, and designing. If you consider yourself an artist, a handyman, or even just willing hands, you can definitely be utilized in this unique ministry. You might be surprised by what you may be asked to make! The Media Ministry helps lead people in worship by supporting every aspect of Faith's services. People learn, experience life, and worship in different ways. Some people take more out of music; others from creative visual displays; and others through the spoken word. It is the Media Ministry's calling to enhance all of these areas so that people can draw closer to God.

The Media Ministry is broken into four smaller teams:

• Sound Team:

  Accommodate all audio needs of the worship team and congregation and edit both sermons and music for upload to the web.

• Lighting Team:

  Design and program lights to create a worshipful environment in each service.

• Projection Team:

  Creatively program and attentively run the big projection screen for each service.

• Video Team:

  Shoot and edit both services and promos for use in services or upload to the web.
