Admission Procedures

This school admits all qualifying students of any race, color, and national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally made available to the students at the school. Students must exhibit the ability to do grade level schoolwork and to respond appropriately to correction and moral teaching. The Administrator/Principal evaluates enrollment requests. Enrollment of a child in Faith Academy/Faith Prep is based upon satisfactory completion of the following requirements:

  1. Obtain an admissions package from the school office.
  2. Complete and return a separate application for each child.
  3. An appointment will be set up between the parents, the prospective student and the principal. It is suggested that parents bring any report cards, standardized testing results, etc. to the meeting.
  4. The following forms must be completed: Student records release, Medical form signed by your doctor, Tuition Contract, and FACTS Form.
  5. Students in grades 5-12 are required to sign the "Honor Code Pledge" which reflects the goals and principles of Faith Academy/Faith Prep.
  6. Students entering Kindergarten or Preschool are required by law to show a valid birth certificate. In keeping with the State of Connecticut guidelines, children entering kindergarten must be five years old before January 1.
  7. The student may be administered entrance and placement testing.
  8. References may be requested from the family pastor and from the student's previous teacher.
  9. Uniforms must be ordered through Lands End and will be sent to your home. Gym uniform must be ordered through the school office.
