Prison Ministry (Men's)

I have the privilege of representing Our Lord and Faith Church as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Prisons throughout the state of Connecticut.

As one who was once incarcerated for many years, I developed a relationship with the Lord and learned the meaning of these scriptures as time went by.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. (2 Cor 1:3-5 NIV)

I remember asking the Lord before I was released to go home..."Lord, I want to come back here again... not as an inmate but rather as a minister, so I can tell everyone of Your forgiveness and unconditional love." He granted every desire in my heart.

Though we all have fallen short of the Glory of God, we must never forget those who are sick and in prison. Because "Faith comes by hearing the Word of God" we are all obligated to carry the message of salvation to everyone who has ears to hear.

As we go into the prisons (myself and "The Breakthrough Team") to minister in Prayer, The WORD and in song, it's absolutely awesome to watch these men come into complete submission to the prompting of The Holy Ghost. Men are crying in true Godly sorrow, repenting with all of their hearts. As they are prayed for, the anointing comes on many of them and they are slain in The Spirit. Lives are truly being changed right before our eyes by the power of God's Holy Spirit.

We are also ministering in different hospitals, as The Lord leads, particularly "Half-way Houses" were we are truly blessed as we watch the delivering power of the Holy Spirit minister to Drug Addicts and Alcoholics. We have actually seen drug addicts delivered immediately by the presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

HE IS SO GOOD!
What can wash away our sins? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus
